    We process personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

    2. Personal Data We Process

    The personal data we process depends on how you use Planet Rooftop.

    We may process the following categories of information:

    * contact details such as name and email address;
    * business or professional contact information;
    * telephone numbers where voluntarily provided;
    * information contained in emails or other communications sent to us;
    * information submitted in connection with rooftop listings;

    * photographs and other media submitted to us;
    * technical information generated when accessing the website;
    * aggregated website usage statistics; and
    * other information voluntarily provided to us.

    We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary for the respective purpose.

    3. Visiting Planet Rooftop

    When you access Planet Rooftop, certain technical information may be processed automatically by our hosting and infrastructure providers in order to deliver the website securely and reliably.

    Depending on the technical infrastructure, this may include information such as:

    * IP address;
    * date and time of access;
    * requested pages or files;
    * browser type and version;
    * operating system;
    * device information;
    * referring website;
    * server log information; and
    * technical error and security information.

    Such information may be processed for purposes including:

    * providing and displaying the website;
    * ensuring website stability and security;
    * detecting technical problems;
    * preventing misuse, fraud and cyberattacks;
    * maintaining and improving the technical infrastructure; and
    * troubleshooting errors.

    Server and security logs are generally retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, security and legal purposes.

    4. Website Hosting and Technical Infrastructure

    Planet Rooftop has been developed and is operated using Lovable and related infrastructure and hosting services.

    Depending on the technical configuration of the website, Lovable and its infrastructure providers or subprocessors may process technical data and other information necessary to host, operate, secure and maintain Planet Rooftop.

    This may include server requests, IP addresses, log information and data submitted through website functionality.

    Lovable may use third-party infrastructure and subprocessors to provide its services. The providers and technical infrastructure used by Lovable may change over time.

    Where such providers process personal data on our behalf, we seek to use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

    More information about Lovable's data processing practices and current subprocessors is available in Lovable's own privacy and legal documentation.

    5. Privacy-Friendly Website Analytics with Plausible

    We use Plausible Analytics to understand how Planet Rooftop is used and to obtain aggregated statistics about website traffic.

    Plausible is operated by:

    Plausible Insights OÜ
    Estonia

    Plausible is designed as a privacy-focused analytics service.

    According to Plausible, its analytics service:

    * does not use cookies for website analytics;
    * does not use persistent identifiers;
    * does not track visitors across different websites;
    * does not create individual visitor profiles for advertising;
    * does not collect or store information that can be used by us to identify individual visitors;
    * does not sell visitor data; and
    * processes website visitor analytics data within the European Union.

    Plausible provides us with aggregated statistics such as:

    * visited pages;
    * referral sources;
    * approximate country;
    * device category;
    * browser;
    * operating system; and
    * general website usage trends.

    We use this information to understand which content is useful to visitors and to improve Planet Rooftop.

    We do not use Plausible for personalised advertising or cross-site tracking.

    Because the analytics implementation does not use analytics cookies or comparable persistent tracking technologies, consent is generally not required for this analytics functionality. This may nevertheless depend on applicable law and the specific technical implementation.

    6. OpenStreetMap and Map Functionality

    Planet Rooftop provides map functionality based on OpenStreetMap data.

    OpenStreetMap is a collaborative mapping project operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation and its community.

    When map content or map tiles are loaded from external servers, technical information necessary to deliver that content may be transmitted to the respective map or infrastructure provider. This can include information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested map content.

    The exact processing depends on the technical implementation and the infrastructure used to deliver the map.

    We use map functionality to allow visitors to find and explore rooftop venues geographically.

    We do not use the map functionality for behavioural advertising.

    Please note that OpenStreetMap data and the technical services used to display map content may be subject to separate privacy policies and terms of use of the respective providers.

    Submission of a rooftop does not guarantee publication.

    9. Photographs and Other Submitted Content

    You may voluntarily provide photographs, descriptions or other materials in connection with a rooftop listing.

    Such materials may contain information relating to identifiable persons.

    If you provide photographs or other content to us, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and, where required, permissions to provide that material to Planet Rooftop.

    Planet Rooftop does not currently use visitor data for behavioural or personalised advertising.

    11. Legal Bases for Processing

    Under Swiss data protection law, we process personal data in accordance with the principles and requirements of applicable data protection legislation.

    Where the GDPR applies, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

    * performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, where processing is necessary to provide requested services or respond to commercial enquiries;
    * legitimate interests, including operating, securing, improving and promoting Planet Rooftop, communicating with users and business partners, maintaining accurate listings and protecting our legal interests;
    * legal obligations, where processing is necessary to comply with accounting, tax or other legal requirements; and
    * consent, where we specifically request consent and consent is required by applicable law.

    Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

    12. Disclosure of Personal Data

    We do not sell personal data.

    We may disclose or make personal data accessible to third parties where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

    * analytics providers;
    * professional advisers;
    * accounting or administrative service providers;
    * payment providers where applicable;
    * public authorities where required by law; and
    * other service providers acting on our behalf.

    Third-party providers may process personal data as processors acting on our instructions or, depending on the circumstances, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

    13. International Data Transfers

    Planet Rooftop is operated from Switzerland but uses online services and infrastructure that may involve the processing of data in other countries.

    Personal data may therefore be processed in Switzerland, the European Economic Area or other countries in which our service providers or their subprocessors operate.

    Where personal data is transferred to a country that does not provide an adequate level of data protection under applicable law, we seek to rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

    Such safeguards may include:

    * recognised adequacy decisions;
    * standard contractual clauses;
    * contractual data protection obligations; or
    * other legally recognised transfer mechanisms.

    Some providers may operate globally and their infrastructure or subprocessors may change over time.

    Plausible states that website visitor analytics data processed through its hosted analytics service remains within the European Union.

    14. Data Retention

    We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or where retention is required for legal, contractual, accounting, security or evidentiary purposes.

    * unsuccessful or outdated rooftop submissions may be deleted when no longer required;
    * information relating to active venue listings may be retained while the listing remains relevant;
    * commercial and contractual information may be retained for the duration of the business relationship and applicable statutory retention periods;
    * accounting and transaction records may be retained for the periods required under Swiss law; and
    * technical logs may be retained for limited periods for security and operational purposes.

    Where information is no longer required, we may delete or anonymise it.

    15. Data Security

    We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against risks including:

    * unauthorised access;
    * accidental loss;
    * misuse;
    * alteration;
    * destruction; and
    * unauthorised disclosure.

    However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

    Users should therefore also take appropriate precautions when transmitting information online.

    16. External Websites and Services

    Planet Rooftop contains links to external websites and services.

    Once you follow an external link, the processing of your personal data is generally governed by the privacy practices of the respective third-party provider.

    We have no control over how third-party websites process personal data.

    External websites may change their content, ownership, technical infrastructure or privacy practices after a link has been added to Planet Rooftop.

    We therefore recommend reviewing the privacy information of external websites before providing personal information to them.

    Further information about external links is provided in our Legal Notice.

    17. Cookies and Similar Technologies

    Planet Rooftop currently aims to minimise the use of cookies and tracking technologies.

    Plausible Analytics does not require analytics cookies.

    Certain technically necessary storage mechanisms may nevertheless be used where required for website functionality, security or user preferences.

    We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or third-party marketing pixels.

    If we introduce additional technologies in the future, such as advertising platforms, marketing trackers or other services requiring consent, we will update this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy and, where required, provide an appropriate consent mechanism.

    For further information, please see our Cookie Policy.

    18. No Sale of Personal Data

    Hagmann Media does not sell personal data collected through Planet Rooftop.

    We also do not provide personal information about Planet Rooftop visitors to advertising networks for cross-site behavioural advertising.

    19. Children's Privacy

    Planet Rooftop is a general information and discovery platform and is not specifically directed at children.

    We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through Planet Rooftop.

    If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data that should not have been collected, please contact us.
