El Techo is a rooftop taqueria and bar in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, opened in October 2019 by the award-winning team at Defined Hospitality. Located on the 11th floor, El Techo is known for its retractable rooftop, offering year-round, all-weather panoramic city views, along with live music events such as Radio Fresca, spotlighting local DJs and musicians.

Menu highlights include margaritas, crafted Mexican cocktails such as the Mezcal Negroni and Cantaritos, and tacos served on Mexican corn tortillas made in-house from volcanic stone-ground masa. The cocktail program reflects a high-quality, ingredient-driven philosophy, celebrating artisan producers of mezcal, tequila, and other agave-based spirits. El Techo has been named “Best Rooftop Bar” by Philadelphia Magazine, and one of “The best rooftop bars and restaurants in Philadelphia” by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
