Bar Smith was known as a bi-level downtown Phoenix nightlife venue with an open-air rooftop dance floor. Its format centered on DJs, late-night energy, and a music-first atmosphere rather than lounge seating. The rooftop helped give the venue a distinct urban feel within the downtown club circuit. It stood out most for party-driven nights and outdoor sets above Washington Street.
